After Bordeaux, Dublin, Brighton, Helsinki, Bologna and Zagreb, the Creative Museum project invites you to join us for its last conference in Lyon on Thursday 6 July 2017 organised in collaboration with Museomix. This practical half-day conference looks at some of the recommended ingredients for building a ‘creative museum’ and is open for anyone who wants to look at museums in innovative and experimental ways. International speakers will share expertise on new methodologies to turn your museum into a cooperative space; how to make connections between museums and their communities; how to transform audiences into active agents in the museum and how to make your museum into a ‘Space of Yes’. Practical tools will help you find your ‘Strategy for Success’. The conference includes a choice of participative workshops, in addition to some great keynote speakers, so be prepared to come with lots of questions and an open-mind. The event will be followed by networking opportunities and drinks or what we describe as an ‘Aperomix’.
