hello Celia,
Je te copie/colle le texte ici par sécurité car je pense que lien ne fonctionne pas.
The MAS is closely linked to the city of Antwerp, its river and its harbor, and focuses on the relationship between the city and the world, throughout history and geography. Its collections are structured around many themes: power, prestige and symbols; Antwerp metropolis; trade and navigation; life and death; besides its repository available to the public.

“La Plaine” at the museum’s entrance
This is a place bubbling with activity, it is a meeting point in Antwerp, and it also attracts many tourists. The place also reflects the work of the artist, Luc Tuymans. However it is sometimes seen as an obstacle, an obstacle to fully enjoy the space.
How to give another dimension, more positive one, to this artwork? How to unify the museum and its surroundings (outdoor, docks, pavilions)?
The spiral tower and the panoramic roof
These two elements are an added value for the museum, but also a big challenge. How to attract visitor going to the rooftop (free access) and guide them to the museum spaces?
This year, the roof will be redesigned in order to implement a lift. How to link the spiral tower, roof, and showrooms to attract more visitors?
Reserves
At the MAS, visitors are invited to discover the museum backstages through the reserves,
conservation, etc. How to put forward these places and involve the public?
Online collections
Online collections are a great challenge in terms of mediation. Should they be considered as a catalog, a simple tool? Why do the public expect from those collections, how to use them?
The collections’ structuration
The museum’ spaces are organized in themes, each floor (4 of them) is dedicated to a specific theme. At the end of each exhibition, there is a space devoted to immerse yourself into the collection, but visitors make little use of it. How to link the various thematic collections and develop the space unused at the moment in order to meet the visitors’ needs?

The Belgian community was born from the initiative of enthusiasts people in June 2014 and has gradually expanded, becoming a non-profit association in November 2014. It currently has twenty organization members and more than 150 people willing to get involved.
Since its creation, the Belgian community decided to call the association MuseomixBE. This name seemed self-evident to all members, coming from Brussels region, Wallonia or Flanders.
Bien que la communauté utilise généralement l’anglais comme langue de communication en interne, nous utilisons le français et le néerlandais pour nos documents de travail et notre communication externe, et jonglons finalement facilement d’une langue à l’autre, dans un état d’esprit très belge.
Although the community generally uses English as spoken language, French and Dutch are used for papers and external communication, and we easily juggle from one to another language, representing the Belgian spirit.
