Purpose
This tool aims to help the team to qualify its prototype and make it more consistent. It is not a tool for evaluating, but a tool for helping the facilitator to drive the team to a “plain” prototype, with a clear identity.
Description of the tool :
A sort of form with a list of adjectives potentially qualifying a prototype. The form allows the team to evaluate the rate of correspondance of each qualifying term with its prototype. The team can change its mind, so the cursors might move many times during the event.
Material
We used cardboard, paper and pieces of adhesive white board to make it, but there are many other possible materials ! The important point is to be able to move the cursors. There is one tool by team.
How to use it ?
When the team agrees on a project, the facilitator propose to the team to complete the form. The goal is not to reach 100 % for each qualification, but to find a plain identity to the prototype. It is better to reach 100% for 3 qualifications and 0 for the others, than to reach 40 % of each qualification…
To improve…
The qualifying terms can be changed, of course. It would also be interesting to use the same form with the public, in order to compare the prototype representation by the team with the experience by the public of the same prototype.

Objectif
Cet outil vise à aider l’équipe à qualifier son prototype et à le rendre plus cohérent. Ce n’est pas un outil d’évaluation, mais un outil pour aider le facilitateur/ la facilitatrice à emmener l’équipe vers un prototype “entier”, avec une identité claire.
** Description de l’outil: **
Une sorte de formulaire avec une liste d’adjectifs qualifiant potentiellement un prototype. Le formulaire permet à l’équipe d’évaluer le taux de correspondance de chaque terme qualificatif avec son prototype. L’équipe peut changer d’avis, les curseurs peuvent donc se déplacer plusieurs fois au cours de l’événement.
Matériel
Nous avons utilisé du carton, du papier et des morceaux de tableau blanc adhésif pour le fabriquer, mais il existe de nombreux autres matériaux possibles ! Le point important est de pouvoir déplacer les curseurs. Il y a un outil par équipe.
Comment l’utiliser ?
Lorsque l’équipe est d’accord sur un projet, l’animateur propose à l’équipe de remplir le formulaire. L’objectif n’est pas d’atteindre 100% pour chaque qualification, mais de trouver une identité claire pour le prototype. Il vaut mieux atteindre 100% pour 3 qualifications et 0 pour les autres, que d’atteindre 40% de chaque qualification …
Améliorer…
Les termes de qualification peuvent être modifiés, bien sûr. Il serait également intéressant d’utiliser le même formulaire avec le public afin de comparer la représentation du prototype par l’équipe avec l’expérience par le public du même prototype.
